About Lindsay Price

Lindsay is currently the resident writer for her company Theatrefolk, an independent publisher of original and adapted scripts for High Schools. In 2008 her most exciting project to date will come to fruition with the publication of her musical Shout.

Also upcoming, Stroke Static will be published by Playwrights Canada Press, The Rabbits will be performed by Impact Theatre in New York. Most recently, The Flying Bandit was produced by the Showboat Festival Theatre in Port Colborne, ON. Lindsay had two scenes published in Scenes and Monologues from the Best New Plays II put out by Meriwether Publishing.

Lindsay was delighted to receive the Gregory Millard Playwriting Award from TADA! Youth Theatre where her play Flaky Lips was chosen to participate in the Best of 15 Years Staged Reading Series. Appliance was performed in Denver, Colorado by the And Toto Too Theatre Company, and Paper Thin was published by Samuel French in Ten Minute Plays: Vol. 6 From the Actors Theatre of Louisville. Shattered had two recent production by Theatre Unbound in Minneapolis, MN and by Constellation Theatre in England.

Lindsay's play Tuna Fish Eulogy has enjoyed great festival success for the Riverside Players sweeping the awards at the Leverhulme Drama Festival, the North-West Divisional Finals, the Northern Area Finals, All England Festival and came 2nd overall at the National Drama Festivals Association 32nd British All-Winners Festival.
